Workshop on Association Development with the DVJB

How do clubs and associations run by young people develop institutionally? Institutional development is central for most youth-led associations: it's tied not only to funding, but also significantly to political influence.

Due to generational turnover, a young board is in a constant state of change, which brings several challenges. On one hand, there's a balancing act to master: staying true to the time commitment of a volunteer role even as institutionalization increases. On the other hand, internal administrative work grows alongside institutionalization. Running the association becomes more time-consuming and raises a critical question.

How do I create knowledge transfer within complex structures and a fast-changing board?

Workshop question

Three foundations of knowledge transfer

It was a lot of fun getting to the bottom of these questions together with the DVBJ. Thanks!
